Legal Specialist

About the Role

MediServ is seeking a Legal Specialist to join its Legal Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role supports the company's commercial and legal activities within the medical devices and healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will possess 1-4 years of experience and a strong understanding of Saudi laws and regulations, particularly concerning commercial contracts, legal advisory, regulatory compliance, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, amend, and negotiate commercial agreements, including distribution, supply, sales, service, and consultancy contracts.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to internal departments.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs and Quality teams on applicable Saudi laws and regulations, including SFDA requirements.
• Prepare and review legal correspondence, corporate documents, authorizations, and resolutions.
• Assist in managing contractual disputes, claims, breach notices, and settlement documentation.
• Maintain contract records and monitor contractual obligations and deadlines.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal memoranda, and identify potential legal risks.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1-4 years of experience in a legal role.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial contracts, legal advisory, regulatory compliance, and contract management.
• Strong understanding of Saudi laws and regulations.

Preferred Background

• Background in medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, distribution, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulatory requirements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within MediServ's Legal Department. The role involves collaboration with various internal departments, including Regulatory Affairs and Quality teams.
