The Role: Project Manager (C&A)

El Seif Engineering Contracting is seeking a full-time Project Manager (C&A) to join its team in Riyadh. This role involves overseeing project execution from planning to close-out, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards. The Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day project decisions and resource management, contributing to client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Manage resource deployment and utilization to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
Make daily project management decisions.
Oversee the selection, management, and retention of Project Managers.
Manage the development of KSA national employees within the function to support corporate objectives and Saudization targets.
Provide input to Human Resources on succession planning, career growth, and organizational structure.
Conduct team affairs with high standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy and company values.
Manage the adoption and utilization of systems and ERP within the function.
Manage day-to-day responsibilities of the projects team in accordance with business plans, policies, and budgets.
Oversee equipment availability and utilization at sites.
Produce Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and manage support requirements for timely approvals.
Identify and report unbudgeted or over-budgeted items.
Identify variations to the scope of works and issue appropriate variation orders.
Obtain consultant approval for design, shop drawings, and material submittals.
Report to the Project Director on the operational and financial status of projects.
Assist the Project Director in preparing and implementing the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
Manage project execution within budget and on time, ensuring client satisfaction.
Design workforce histograms and monitor labor productivity, coordinating with HR for resource mobilization.
Measure and report labor availability and implement trade productivity methods.
Coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure material quality and timely delivery.
Support the preparation of reporting templates as per client requirements.
Assist the Project Director in developing an Active Risk Management plan.
Coordinate with the Engineering function for shop drawing generation.
Support the Project Director in developing project work plans, assigning activities, and monitoring workflow.
Manage project delivery and close-out in accordance with contractual arrangements and financial objectives.
Prepare and present monthly project summary reports to the Project Director.
Liaise with the Procurement function to develop and implement the project procurement plan.
Develop staff, labor, and equipment mobilization and de-mobilization plans.
Support and implement strategies to achieve high client satisfaction and constructive relationships.
Review monthly cost reports and quarterly cost to complete reports.
Develop, implement, and monitor project plans and controls mechanisms, recommending changes and highlighting risks.
Manage, evaluate, and reward the performance of the construction team, ensuring coordination with other functions.
Work with suppliers and subcontractors to establish detailed project plans.
Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, including variance analysis.
Manage the implementation of management policies, processes, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental procedures.
Display effective negotiation and persuasion skills with stakeholders to meet project objectives.
