About the Role

Wipro is seeking a Managing Consultant - Tech & Impl L1 for a contract position in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This role involves selling and managing the delivery of complex consulting propositions within the consultant's area of expertise, with a focus on driving measurable value for clients. The Managing Consultant will also lead the development of consulting solutions and support practice growth and development, while maintaining high personal billability.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve utilization targets and act as an ambassador for Wipro's tenets and values.
• Lead teams of consultants, work streams, projects, or programs as a Program Manager or equivalent.
• Develop strong client relationships, manage large engagements or accounts, and design complex consulting programs.
• Oversee budgets and ensure the quality of deliverables, acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team and client staff, building trust through a focus on quality and delivery.

Business Development and Thought Leadership

• Manage a personal sales pipeline and revenue target, selling laterally and vertically to clients.
• Identify leads, convert them into opportunities and proposals, and lead sales and marketing activities.
• Close new projects or extensions with minimal partner support and proactively seek new revenue opportunities.
• Drive proposal creation and presales activities by leveraging Wipro's global footprint and consulting capabilities.
• Be recognized as an industry thought leader, sharing insights and presenting Wipro's thought leadership at external forums.
• Ensure case studies and track records are utilized in sales efforts across Wipro.

Contribution to Practice and Wipro

• Complete all Wipro administrative tasks in a timely manner, including timesheets, appraisals, and expenses.
• Contribute demonstrably to internal initiatives and promote the reuse of IP and knowledge assets.
• Ensure engagement teams contribute tools, methods, and IP to the knowledge management platform.
• Develop and improve practice policies, procedures, and frameworks, creating reusable IP/assets.
• Manage line team career development and monitor talent attrition.
• Engage with other consulting and delivery teams to enhance collaboration and design tailored client solutions.

Strategic Objectives

• Deliver growth in consulting revenues and achieve business performance against quarterly/annual targets.
• Improve consulting quality by increasing strategic advisory and transformation projects, deal value, and billing rates.
• Lead end-to-end sales cycles for select accounts and opportunities.
• Lead and deliver strategic advisory/transformation consulting engagements, managing client expectations and ensuring quality.
• Generate impact for Wipro by growing client relationships and providing leadership to transformation solutions.
• Grow market positioning for Consulting and Wipro through client relationships, insight, and digital leadership.
• Represent Wipro in internal and external industry forums.
• Develop senior-level relationships beyond the CIO organization and open new business streams.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess over 10 years of relevant experience in consulting, with a proven track record in managing complex projects and client relationships. The role requires a well-rounded consultant with strong hard and soft skills, capable of decisive and directive delivery focus. Flexibility in approach and the ability to coordinate resources with diverse expertise are essential.
