Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Takamol Mobility Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the operations team at Salamah Vehicle Inspection centers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the continuous operation of inspection equipment and systems, leading maintenance activities, and supervising technical work to uphold high quality and safety standards.

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for hands-on mechanical and machinery maintenance. This includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing faults, and overseeing the daily tasks of the maintenance team. The role is critical for maintaining uninterrupted operations at the vehicle inspection centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicle inspection equipment, machinery, and testing systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electro-mechanical faults and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Supervise the maintenance team, allocate daily tasks, and monitor the quality of execution.
• Prepare and implement periodic maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, spare-parts records, and equipment history reports.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and calibration.
• Monitor equipment calibration and ensure compliance with regulatory and technical standards.
• Enforce occupational health and safety procedures within the workshop and inspection lanes.
• Recommend spare-parts requirements and support inventory planning to minimize downtime.
• Report equipment performance, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in maintenance, with strong mechanical and machinery expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex equipment.
• Experience in diagnosing mechanical and electro-mechanical faults.
• Proven supervisory skills to manage and monitor a maintenance team.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the operations team of Salamah Vehicle Inspection centers. The role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency and safety.
