MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

About the Role

Napco National is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency of machinery through timely repairs and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute repair requests from the Maintenance Team Leader, adhering to established Work Instructions (WI) and Machine Manuals to restore machines to optimal working condition.
• Collaborate with Lead Technicians or Team Leaders for troubleshooting complex breakdowns as needed.
• Initiate spare parts requisitions using the designated form and submit them to the Maintenance Team Leader for pre-approval, ensuring efficient consumption.
• Upon repair completion, clean the work area according to Post Maintenance Cleaning WI to ensure it is free from residues.
• Document repair details, finishing time, and any pending tasks or new findings on the Repair Request Form (RRF).
• Obtain feedback and approval from the Production Team Leader on the RRF before submitting it to the Maintenance Team Leader, confirming production satisfaction.
• Perform Scheduled and Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Team Leader, following checklists and reporting new findings for future scheduling.
• Conduct in-house calibration tasks based on Maintenance Team Leader instructions and Calibration Work Instructions.
• Adhere to 5S duties as per the established plan to enhance the working environment.

Safety and Compliance

• Familiarize with and follow health and safety procedures and instructions relevant to the function.
• Comply with NAPCO-IFP safety standards and Saudi Labor rules and legislation.
• Participate in OH&S activities and attend safety meetings as required.
• Attend all company-provided training.
• Report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, or acts to the direct supervisor or camp boss.
• Correct unsafe conditions immediately if safe and possible.
• Ensure all safety precautions are in place before commencing any work.
• Refuse to perform work under unsafe conditions.
• Utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Inspect tools, equipment, and vehicles before use.
• Be familiar with the emergency response plan and locations of first aid and firefighting equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in maintenance or a related technical field.
• Ability to understand and follow work instructions and machine manuals.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and compliance.

Work Environment and Interactions

The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the entire Maintenance Team internally. External interactions will primarily involve all Production Sections and the Spare Parts Store to ensure seamless operations and support.
