About the Role

Restart is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role involves contributing to mechanical engineering activities across various projects.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Engineer will be involved in mechanical engineering activities, site execution, and technical coordination. This includes participating in inspections, testing, and commissioning processes, while ensuring all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage mechanical installation and construction activities at project sites.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and other technical documents.
• Supervise the installation of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, water supply, pumps, and other mechanical systems.
• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, civil, architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure mechanical installations are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Review contractor and subcontractor work to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure mechanical works are completed according to the approved schedule.
• Verify mechanical materials and equipment delivered to site against approved technical submittals and specifications.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover of mechanical systems.
• Monitor quality control and ensure proper inspection and documentation of mechanical works.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, inspection records, technical reports, and other project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE, quality, and mechanical safety requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ability to independently manage mechanical site activities and resolve technical issues.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia’s construction, infrastructure, or real estate sector and familiarity with local codes and standards is preferred.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involving work on construction, infrastructure, and real estate development projects.
