About the Role

Luxoft is seeking a Murex Production Support Consultant to join a large bank in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on providing technical production support for Murex environments, specifically managing end-of-day (EOD) processes and market risk activities. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring the stability and accuracy of risk calculations and daily operations.

Role Context and Focus

This position involves critical support for Murex systems, with a primary emphasis on market risk and EOD functions. The consultant will address technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with vendors to resolve complex problems, ensuring seamless operation of the bank's risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve daily production issues related to Market Risk calculations, including Value at Risk (VaR), stress testing, and P&L attribution frameworks.
  • Manage vendor deliveries, support, and closure for Market Risk related issues.
  • Support Murex Risk Architecture (MRA) and Murex Risk Engine (MRE) to ensure accurate generation of Value at Risk (VaR), stress testing, and sensitivities (Delta, Gamma, Vega).
  • Provide Level 2 support for all EOD issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing problem management to prevent recurrence.
  • Execute EOD processes, including job creation, test runs, and flow testing, while troubleshooting failures related to EOD, user/trader issues, system failures, and infrastructure.
  • Resolve EOD issues such as DataMart feeder failures, market data failures, slow or crashed user sessions, and accounting EOD failures, escalating to infrastructure teams when necessary.
  • Coordinate with vendors for reported bugs, track fixes, deploy re-tests, and ensure the quality of technical deployments.
  • Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for EOD issues.
  • Perform sanity checks within the Murex UI, including workflows and real-time data.
  • Handle ad hoc operational requests such as generating on-demand reports, file transfers, and housekeeping activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Murex production support.
  • Demonstrated experience with Market Risk calculations, VaR, stress testing, and P&L attribution.
  • Proficiency in supporting Murex Risk Architecture (MRA) and Murex Risk Engine (MRE).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex production issues.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, supporting a large banking client. The role requires active participation in a dynamic environment focused on critical financial systems.
