About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking a PMO Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on providing essential project management support, ensuring projects align with established PMO standards and requirements. The specialist will contribute to effective project monitoring, reporting, governance, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in preparing, maintaining, and submitting project management documentation according to PMO standards.
• Maintain and update project information, status reports, and records within approved reporting tools and Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
• Assist Project Managers in preparing and documenting meeting minutes for leadership and business stakeholders.
• Manage action trackers and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of agreed actions.
• Support Project Managers in identifying, monitoring, and following up on project risks, issues, and mitigation actions.
• Monitor the status and progress of assigned projects, coordinating with Project Managers for timely delivery and adherence to PMO requirements.
• Ensure applicable projects comply with PMO governance, including stage-gate processes, approvals, and required documentation.
• Organize, maintain, and archive project documentation upon completion of phases or project closure.
• Ensure project records adhere to approved folder structures, naming conventions, document control, version control, and retention requirements.
• Manage assigned low-complexity projects or initiatives from initiation to closure, with guidance from a Project Manager.
• Ensure assigned projects are delivered according to agreed scope, timelines, deliverables, and governance requirements.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Project Managers, business stakeholders, and other parties to facilitate effective project communication and execution.
• Support cross-functional coordination and follow-up activities as directed by the PMO Manager or Project Manager.

• Quality: Ensure quality requirements are met, developing effective quality control and processes.
• Business Process Improvement: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Compliance: Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures within the defined work area.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience to effectively manage the responsibilities outlined for this role.
