About the Role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal Consultant for the Penetration Testing Unit. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, involves leading the assessment and challenging of security postures for a diverse client portfolio. The Principal Consultant will leverage advanced tools and methodologies to advocate for cybersecurity best practices and provide actionable recommendations to enhance client defenses against sophisticated threats.

The Offensive Security Team

The Offensive Security team operates within Unit 42, Palo Alto Networks' global threat intelligence team. Unit 42's mission is to provide customers with the context, analysis, and assistance required to protect against advanced cyber threats. The team comprises security researchers, incident responders, and security consultants focused on preventing successful cyberattacks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive penetration tests across network, web application, cloud, and mobile environments to identify and exploit vulnerabilities.
• Deliver assessments utilizing Palo Alto Networks Frontier AI Defense test harnesses and platforms with the latest frontier models.
• Develop custom scripts, tools, and methodologies to automate and enhance offensive security engagements and internal processes.
• Lead client engagements, clearly articulating testing approaches and methodologies to both technical and executive audiences.
• Generate detailed reports communicating test results, identified risks, and concrete remediation recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate proactively with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment and achieve shared security objectives.
• Lead in scoping new opportunities and developing internal infrastructure for offensive security research and development.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex penetration testing engagements.
• Proficiency in developing custom tools and methodologies for offensive security.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with technical and executive stakeholders.
