About the Role

Maarif Education is seeking a Psychologist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting students across all educational levels by addressing social, emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. The Psychologist will provide therapy sessions and oversee students' mental health to help them navigate various behavioral issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group evaluations and diagnoses of learning, behavior, and/or adjustment problems among students.
• Provide guidance and assistance to students experiencing learning, behavior, and/or adjustment difficulties.
• Create a supportive and accepting environment where students feel comfortable expressing their needs.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, district administrators, and caregivers to address students' mental and emotional health needs.
• Utilize assessment and data collection methods to implement and evaluate services and programs that support social skill development, learning, and mental and behavioral health through individual and group counseling, as well as school-wide training.
• Develop and implement practices and strategies to establish and maintain effective, safe, and supportive learning environments and school climates for all students, including positive behavior intervention and supports.
• Evaluate and apply research as a foundation for service delivery, and collaborate with others to use varied techniques and technological resources for data collection, measurement, and analysis to support effective practices at individual, group, and school levels.
• Offer consultation and advisement to administrators, teachers, and parents regarding general and special educational programs, as appropriate.
• Evaluate and report on student progress, including the use of psychometric tests.
• Refer students to community services when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Candidates should have 0-1 years of relevant experience.
