The Role of a Quality Inspector

SAUDICO is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the highest standards of construction quality. The primary objective of this role is to carry out thorough inspections and monitor the quality of both materials and completed works, ensuring strict compliance with approved drawings, specifications, established quality procedures, and all applicable project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections in strict accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
• Verify that all work is executed according to approved drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Inspect delivered materials to confirm their compliance with approved material submittals.
• Prepare and diligently follow up on Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR).
• Identify any non-conforming work and promptly report findings to the QA/QC Engineer.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure the timely closure of quality observations and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Maintain comprehensive inspection reports, checklists, test results, and all relevant quality records.
• Coordinate inspection activities effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and site engineers.
• Witness required testing activities and ensure that all results are accurately documented.
• Assist in the preparation of handover documents, snag lists, and final quality records.
• Ensure that only approved materials and construction methods are utilized throughout projects.
• Comply with all health and safety procedures while performing inspection duties.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant quality inspection role within the construction industry.
• Basic knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection requirements, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Relevant quality courses or professional certifications are preferred.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic construction environment, contributing to significant projects across the Kingdom.
