About the Opportunity

HCLTech is seeking a SAP FICA Consultant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on bridging complex financial accounting with specialized industry operations.

Role Overview

The consultant will be responsible for the seamless integration of Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA), Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX), and core Financial Accounting (FI). This involves designing and implementing end-to-end solutions for high-volume billing, lease accounting, and automated financial processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end solutions for high-volume billing, lease accounting, and automated financial processing.
• Configure and manage master data, postings and reversals, deferred revenues, and automatic clearing controls within SAP FI-CA.
• Develop and optimize billing and invoicing processes, including mass processing for billable items, credit notes, write-offs, and reversals.
• Set up automated payment runs, return processing, bank statement clearing, external cash disk, and payment lots.
• Design automated dunning levels, collection agency interfaces, and write-off procedures.
• Manage architectural and usage views of real estate objects (buildings, land, rental units) within SAP RE-FX.
• Design and maintain lease contracts (Lessor/Lessee), including index-based rent adjustments, renewals, and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 / ASC 842 for all lease accounting practices.
• Configure tax codes, jurisdictional reporting, and execute month-end closing activities within SAP FI.
• Manage standard vendor/customer accounts as they intersect with contract accounting.
• Apply knowledge of the AUC cycle through investment orders and basic Asset Accounting module functions.

Required Expertise

• SAP FI-CA: Strong experience with master data, postings and reversals, deferred revenues, automatic clearing controls, closing activities, and FICA configuration.
• Convergent Invoicing: Proficiency in configuring billing and invoicing for high-volume industries (Public Sector preferred), mass processing for billable items, and working with credit notes, write-offs, and reversals.
• Integration: Deep understanding of FICA-to-GL reconciliation and RE-FX-to-FI posting logic, with experience integrating with external applications.
• SAP RE-FX: Knowledge of portfolio management, contract management, and IFRS 16 / ASC 842 compliance.
• SAP FI: Expertise in General Ledger (GL) integration, tax and reporting configuration, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Asset Accounting.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an SAP FICA Consultant or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex SAP financial solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial accounting processes.
