About HCLTech and the Role

HCLTech is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA EPPM Lead to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to driving the design, implementation, and optimization of Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) solutions within complex business and capital projects.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to enable efficient project planning, execution, resource management, cost control, investment management, and project governance. The SAP S/4HANA EPPM Lead will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure project management processes align with SAP best practices and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA EPPM solution design and implementation activities.
• Gather and analyze business requirements for project and portfolio management processes.
• Configure and optimize SAP EPPM functionalities, including project planning, portfolio management, resource management, and project execution.
• Design project governance frameworks, stage-gate processes, and project performance reporting.
• Support capital project management, program management, and investment planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, engineering, maintenance, and project teams to ensure integrated business processes.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best-practice solutions.
• Support project costing, budgeting, forecasting, and progress tracking requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications and support development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Lead workshops, user training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Support data migration, system integration, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 10+ years of SAP consulting experience.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Project Systems (PS) and/or SAP S/4HANA EPPM.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and project governance.
• Experience managing complex project portfolios and capital programs.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, aerospace, defense, or asset-intensive industries is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Certifications

• SAP S/4HANA Project Systems or EPPM Certification.
• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
