The Senior Accountant Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires an individual capable of operating with minimal supervision, preparing complex, specialized, or ad-hoc financial reports within their field. The role contributes directly to the completion of milestones and operational targets within the assigned functional area, adhering strictly to established guidelines and procedures.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop policies, procedures, and controls to ensure an efficient and robust physical verification review process for fixed assets.
• Update and maintain the fixed asset register, accurately recording all accounting information related to the acquisition, disposal (including transfers and retirement), depreciation, accumulated depreciation, and revaluations of fixed assets.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to maintain controlled and consistent work practices.
• Provide support to junior team members and assist in resolving escalated problems to ensure the efficient execution of tasks.

Operational Duties

• Investigate conditions that may indicate potential impairment of fixed assets.
• Calculate asset retirement obligations in accordance with accounting standards.
• Perform comprehensive financial reviews of asset disposal processes.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking candidates with 0-1 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision, work diligently within established guidelines and procedures, and contribute proactively to team objectives. A capacity for problem-solving and providing support to colleagues is also essential.

Work Setting
