About the Role

eSense is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting management with financial analysis. This role involves handling various tax and Zakat matters, coordinating with auditors, and preparing financial statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger, and financial closing processes.
• Handle Zakat, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Withholding Tax in accordance with ZATCA regulations.
• Prepare, review, and submit tax and Zakat returns accurately and on time.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and approvals for all financial transactions.
• Coordinate effectively with external and internal auditors, providing necessary documents and explanations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Work efficiently with ERP and other accounting systems.
• Support management with financial analysis to aid decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CMA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Prior experience in IT or technology companies is highly preferred.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
