The Role: Senior Appian Developer - Process & Workflow

CodeNinja Inc. is seeking a Senior Appian Developer - Process & Workflow to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract, onsite role open to all nationalities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building complex process models, case management flows, and business rules for Appian applications within a leading bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role emphasizes performance, maintainability, and auditability of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build complex process models, including subprocesses, parallel flows, escalations, timers, exception handling, and multi-level approvals.
• Implement case management solutions for banking operations such as account opening, credit approvals, disputes, KYC refresh, and complaints.
• Model business rules and decisions using Appian expression rules and decision tables.
• Design task routing, SLAs, delegation, and maker-checker controls in alignment with segregation-of-duties policies.
• Optimize process performance, focusing on memory usage, process archiving, node counts, activity chaining, and smart-service choices.
• Implement audit trails and process history as required by compliance and internal audit standards.
• Write rule test cases and provide support for QA and UAT defect resolution.
• Review peer process designs and mentor mid-level developers.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong hands-on Appian development experience.
• Demonstrated experience within a banking or financial services environment.

Work Environment

This is an onsite contract role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position involves working directly with a leading bank in the Kingdom, focusing on core banking workflows from account opening to credit approvals and end-to-end complex case management solutions.
