Senior Cost Control (Mega Civil Project)

About the Role

IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture is seeking a Senior Cost Control professional to join its Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh. This full-time position is within the Infrastructure Division and focuses on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, specifically those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments. The role requires over 10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all cost control matters, develop accurate cost estimates, monitor project expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to ensure project completion within budgetary and financial objectives.
• Prepare and present accurate and comprehensive cost estimates reports, budget forecasts, and change proposals analysis to upper management and the Client.
• Analyze project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee the Application and Payments process to ensure accuracy and adherence to the contract.
• Coordinate with project managers and other discipline managers to track and control project costs.
• Provide guidance and support to the client on cost control matters.
• Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Control processes, resulting in the delivery of high-quality work to the client.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 12 years of applicable experience in project and construction management, particularly in mega construction projects, primarily as a Consultant. Candidates with exclusive contractor experience will not be considered.
• Experience in at least one or more road projects. Candidates without clear road project experience will not be considered.
• Understanding of construction, design, and engineering principles.
• Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Additional Requirements

• Transferable Iqama for non-Saudi candidates.

• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
