About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to significant construction projects. The role focuses on ensuring project objectives are met through effective site management and technical oversight.

Role Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for safely participating in the accomplishment of project objectives. This involves active engagement in planning and scheduling, efficient resource allocation and management, stringent cost control, providing clear technical direction, and ensuring full compliance with quality standards and established procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, including site layout, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Supervise on-site activities, monitoring progress, quality control, and adherence to safety regulations and building codes.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any arising issues or conflicts.
• Manage the procurement, delivery, and storage of materials and equipment, ensuring adequate supply and timely delivery to support project requirements.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to workers and subcontractors, addressing technical challenges or queries related to operational activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of operational activities, including progress reports, site records, and as-built drawings.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations on-site, conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective actions to prevent accidents.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost-effective solutions to stay within budget.
• Communicate regularly with clients and project stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company policies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineering.
• 0-1 years of professional experience in a relevant field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring consistent on-site presence to effectively manage and supervise project operations.
