About UCC Holding and the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a Site Civil Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to join its construction team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position designed for newly graduated professionals eager to contribute to major building projects.

Role Overview

This role offers an opportunity for a newly graduated Civil Engineer to gain hands-on site experience and develop technical and project management skills. The successful candidate will support the execution of major building projects within the construction team, assisting senior engineers and project management in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Site Engineer and Project Management team in daily construction activities.
Monitor civil works and ensure execution is in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to support daily work activities.
Assist in checking materials, workmanship, and completed works.
Review and understand construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
Prepare daily site reports and maintain records of site activities.
Assist with measurements, quantity calculations, and work progress tracking.
Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Report site issues, delays, and technical concerns to the senior engineer.
Support inspections and ensure works are completed according to approved procedures.
Maintain proper documentation and follow project procedures.

Candidate Requirements

Strong interest in building construction and site execution.
Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
Ability to read and understand civil and architectural drawings.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
Strong willingness to learn and work in a site-based construction environment.
Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

This role is based within a dynamic construction team, primarily involving site-based work on major building projects. The position offers direct exposure to construction processes and project execution.
