The Role: Software Engineer II Android

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II Android to join our Fulfillment team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a Contract position for a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to our platform, gaining hands-on experience and making a tangible impact on our services.

Key Responsibilities in Software Development

• Stay informed on the latest software development methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Analyze product requirements to understand engineering needs, assess technical feasibility, estimate efforts, and provide solutions in collaboration with the Product Team.
• Assist in the construction of development components and manage the programming of various solution components to accurately translate requirements into functional software.

Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution

• Document all coding steps to ensure clarity and facilitate future modifications and maintenance.
• Responsible for writing unit, integration, and UI / Snapshot testing to ensure code quality.
• Investigate and resolve identified issues and bugs through patches and other corrective measures.
• Perform functional and module testing to verify the functionality of delivered solutions.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with colleagues on code reviews and provide comprehensive code review reports.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on product development progress, recommending improvements as necessary.
• Assist in user trials and acceptance testing processes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record as a significant individual contributor, coupled with strong capabilities as a team player. This Contract role in Riyadh requires 5-10 years of experience as an Android Engineer, demonstrating both technical proficiency and collaborative spirit.
