About the Role

Webook is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires over 10 years of experience and involves providing technical vision and strategic direction to align development efforts with overall business objectives. The Solution Architect will be instrumental in overseeing the design and implementation of IT systems to ensure robust and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical vision and strategic direction to ensure the development team aligns with business strategy.
• Assume technical responsibility for code quality, system security, and all development on IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, speed, and scalability.
• Oversee the design and implementation of IT systems to deliver appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, engineers, and other technology specialists.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle for the production of software and applications.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for the integration of new technology.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to maintain a high-quality product platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into system specifications.
• Advise on and implement best practices for software development and documentation.
• Maintain high levels of performance and reliability within the architectural framework.

Technical Implementation

• Develop and maintain backend components utilizing PHP Laravel.
• Implement web solutions with React JS for user interface development.
• Integrate and manage content using Contentful CMS.
• Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of components.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, optimizing web application performance.
• Collaborate in the development and maintenance of databases and APIs.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure application relevance.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must possess over 10 years of experience in solution architecture or a related senior technical leadership position. A strong background in software development, system design, and team leadership is required, demonstrating the ability to manage complex technical projects and mentor development teams effectively.
