About the Role

Hangzhou CIEC Group is seeking a Steel Trader to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on local procurement and sales within the steel industry, requiring a professional with significant experience in the field.

Role Overview

The Steel Trader will be responsible for executing local business plans, managing individual business performance, and ensuring successful trade execution from negotiation to payment collection. The role involves active engagement with clients and continuous market monitoring to support departmental decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Manage local procurement and sales activities.
Implement department-level local business plans effectively.
Take accountability for individual business performance, including trading volume and profit.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Provide comprehensive business solutions tailored to client needs.
Collect and analyze information on local markets, clients, and competitor transactions on a daily and weekly basis.
Conduct market analysis and provide timely feedback to support departmental decision-making processes.
Independently conduct business negotiations, prepare quotations, and finalize contract signings.
Perform order evaluation, ensure end-to-end order tracking, and implement risk control measures to guarantee smooth trade execution up to full payment collection.

Qualifications and Requirements

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in steel trading or a related field.
Ability to undertake frequent business travel within the region.
Proven track record in local procurement and sales.
Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires a professional who is prepared for regular business travel to meet operational demands and client needs within the region.
