About the Role

Sabil | سابل is seeking a Central Master Planning Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves developing and refining the overall commercial and operations master plan, focusing on accurate forecasting, efficient resource utilization, effective interdepartmental coordination, and continuous improvement in planning processes. The manager will establish forecasting methodologies, collaborate with data analytics teams, optimize storage and transportation capacities, and implement contingency plans.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and refine the commercial and operations master plan, considering procurement, storage, transportation, and delivery, by analyzing historical data, market trends, and customer demand.
Establish robust forecasting methodologies using statistical models, machine learning, and industry insights to predict grain supply, demand, and pricing, incorporating seasonality, weather, and economic indicators.
Analyze forecast accuracy metrics to identify trends and patterns, making data-driven adjustments to improve model accuracy.
Collaborate with data analytics teams to enhance forecasting models and leverage advanced analytics for identifying correlations and seasonal variations.
Work with Cluster Directors, Operations Planning, Operations Excellence and Support, and other Commercial departments to gather input for central planning forecasts.
Share forecasted demand and supply information with stakeholders to facilitate optimal procurement decisions and provide insights on market conditions and supply chain risks.
Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the grains supply chain.
Evaluate the utilization of storage, unloading, and transportation capacities, conducting assessments to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Coordinate with the Sales team to provide guidance on available storage capacity and understand customer requirements for effective resource allocation.
Collaborate with Operations Planning and Excellence teams to ensure efficient use of transportation resources, optimizing routing, load consolidation, and scheduling.
Liaise with the Grain Procurement unit to synchronize master planning with procurement execution, aligning needs with capacities.
Collaborate with the Sales team to align client requirements with supply chain capabilities, communicating preferences, delivery schedules, and handling requirements.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings with Operations, Sales, and Finance to ensure seamless information flow and coordination.
Collaborate with Clusters to gather local insights and market intelligence for precise planning, leveraging knowledge of regional factors.
Communicate major planning decisions and changes effectively with Operations teams and external stakeholders, providing clear instructions and timelines.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement

Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for forecasted planning, including forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, on-time deliveries, and cost efficiency.
Regularly review performance metrics and initiate process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide regular updates to executive leadership on master planning, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Central Master Planning unit, encouraging innovation and efficiency.
Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends to incorporate relevant improvements into the planning function.
