Role Overview

AECOM is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role involves significant leadership and technical accountability within a specific engineering group or department. The manager will be responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments, often requiring multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform management, leadership, and people accountability duties for a technical group or department.
• Assume full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.
• Plan and develop engineering tasks, including those involving unique or complex problems, requiring exploration of subject areas and selection of investigation problems.
• Define the scope of projects and develop novel concepts and approaches.
• Maintain liaison with internal units and external individuals or organizations.
• Act independently on technical matters pertinent to the field.
• Manage a group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating their activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Demonstrated multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering principles.
• Proven ability to work under minimal supervision, with assignments provided in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
