About the Team Leader Role at KONE

KONE, a certified Top Employer, is seeking a Team Leader to join its operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is focused on providing professional service to customers and leading a team of technicians. The role is integral to ensuring quality service and enhancing equipment safety and performance within the KONE framework.

Role Purpose and Context

The Team Leader will be at the core of KONE's service delivery, responsible for driving and executing VA & VB repair activities and managing a team of technicians. This position involves ensuring quality service, improving equipment safety and performance, and promoting regular and proactive on-site communication with customers and equipment users.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure on-site safety by applying established safety practices, identifying proactive risks, and adhering to STOP and GO principles.
Manage day-to-day on-site communication with customers regarding installation activities, coordinating continuously with the Field Supervisor.
Oversee the equipment installation environment during all installation activities.
Perform the reception, checking, and secure storage of materials and delivered equipment.
Execute installations according to predetermined method instructions and schedules.
Ensure high-quality and timely installation of equipment, following KONE installation methods, primarily AM instructions.
Report installation progress accurately to the Field Supervisor.
Maintain installation tooling in a safe and good working condition.
Promote quality feedback forms and contribute proactively to product improvement by providing feedback to the supply line.
Respond promptly to unexpected events by communicating with the Field Supervisor.
Apply lean principles to prevent work interruptions and consistently follow and promote huddles initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-7 years of relevant experience.
A strong service mindset is essential for this role.
