About the Role

Nice One is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting various financial operations. The Accountant will contribute to the financial integrity and reporting processes within a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, accounting records, and financial transaction information.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, adjustments, and other accounting transactions.
• Process accounts payable, including reviewing invoices, verifying approvals, and managing vendor payments.
• Handle accounts receivable, recording customer invoices and receipts, monitoring outstanding balances, and supporting collections.
• Perform regular bank, credit card, and other financial account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations, identifying variances and resolving accounting differences.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, including account analysis and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial schedules, management reports, and variance analyses for internal review.
• Review employee expense reports, verify receipts, code expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, expense tracking, and monitoring actual results against approved budgets.
• Monitor cash transactions, support cash flow reporting, and maintain accurate cash balances.
• Maintain fixed asset records, calculate depreciation, and process additions and disposals.
• Provide accounting support for payroll processing, reconciliations, benefits, and taxes.
• Assist with tax compliance activities, audit requests, and regulatory filings.
• Prepare documentation requested by internal or external auditors.
• Adhere to established accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation standards.
• Utilize accounting software, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools for financial information management.
• Analyze financial data, investigate unusual transactions, identify trends, and communicate findings to management.
• Organize financial documentation in accordance with company retention procedures.
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve accounting issues and support business objectives.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes, reporting procedures, and controls.
