About the AI Governance Consultant Role

Aventus Global Talent is seeking an AI Governance Consultant to join a global IT and AI consulting company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to establishing and maintaining robust AI compliance, ethics, and governance frameworks at an enterprise level. The role offers an opportunity to shape AI governance practices within a dynamic market.

Role Context and Impact

The AI Governance Consultant will operate at the forefront of responsible AI implementation, ensuring that artificial intelligence initiatives align with ethical principles and regulatory requirements. This position involves critical work in managing potential risks associated with AI technologies and integrating governance across the AI lifecycle within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks and policies.
• Drive the adoption of responsible and ethical AI practices throughout the organization.
• Manage AI-related risks, including bias, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee AI lifecycle management and maintain the model registry.
• Collaborate closely with legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure integrated governance.
• Align AI practices with international standards, specifically ISO/IEC 42001.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AI governance.
• Strong understanding of AI risk management frameworks.
• Knowledge of the Saudi regulatory landscape, including NDMO, SDAIA, and PDPL, is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with or certification in ISO/IEC 42001 standards.

Compensation and Employment Details

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The salary offered for this role ranges from 35,000 to 40,000 SAR per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
