The Role of AOR Coordinator

Omrania is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Architect of Record (AOR) Coordinator to support the successful delivery of architectural projects from design through construction. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh. The AOR Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between the design team, Architect of Record, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project documentation, regulatory compliance, and coordination activities are completed accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Architect of Record, design consultants, and internal project teams throughout all project phases.
• Manage and track architectural drawings, specifications, submittals, and project documentation.
• Ensure project documents comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.
• Coordinate the submission of drawings and documents for authority approvals and permits.
• Monitor project schedules and support timely completion of deliverables.
• Review consultant drawings for consistency and coordination.
• Track Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, design changes, and document revisions.
• Organize project meetings, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Maintain document control and ensure all project records are current and properly archived.
• Support construction administration activities by coordinating responses to site-related technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in architectural project coordination, design, or construction administration.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and architectural standards.
• Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with document management platforms is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
• Preferred: Previous experience working with international consultants or large-scale projects.
