About Shining 3D and the Role

Shining 3D is a global company specializing in digital products for the dental industry, committed to transforming dentistry from analog to digital. With over 1,300 employees worldwide and offices in the USA, Germany, and Japan, we partner with dental dealers to make our products available. We are seeking an Application Engineer Dental to join our support team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on providing technical support and training for our comprehensive suite of dental digital workflow products, including Aoralscan IO Scanners, MetiSmile Facial Scanners, AccuFab Printers, Wash, Cure, Resins, and AutoScan desktop scanners.

Technical Support Responsibilities

The Application Engineer Dental will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support services to our dealer network and clients. This includes both pre-sales and after-sales activities, ensuring effective product adoption and issue resolution.

• Provide pre-sales demonstrations, product installations, and debugging.
• Conduct equipment usage training for clients and offer after-sales problem solving.
• Perform equipment maintenance as required.
• Train clients on newly launched application solutions and product functions.
• Develop application cases, technical documents, and training materials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Market Insight

This role involves significant collaboration with internal teams and active participation in market intelligence gathering to support product development and business growth.

• Record and maintain after-sales data, organizing and analyzing it to report technical issues to supervisors and the R&D department.
• Follow up on problem-solving progress to promote continuous product optimization.
• Assist R&D in testing new product software, hardware, and materials, providing constructive feedback for improvements.
• Support on-site activities, including exhibitions and competitions, by explaining product performance to business systems.
• Monitor and collect information on clients and competitors in the market, establishing an internal information feedback mechanism.
• Propose product improvement suggestions and opinions based on customer feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in technical support within a relevant industry, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client engagement.

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a related technical support or application engineering role.
• Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive technical support and deliver effective training.
• A dynamic and hard-working professional approach to responsibilities.
