About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya, a flagship Giga project under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, is developing a world-class entertainment, cultural, and lifestyle destination. This multibillion-dollar project involves extensive infrastructure, hospitality, retail, and service sectors, necessitating robust management of supplier relationships and supply chain risks. We are seeking an Assistant Manager Supply Chain Risks to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a full-time basis.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Risk will support the organization's Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Supply Chain Risk (SCR) team. This role is central to identifying key risks across the supply chain for all procurement categories within Qiddiya and leading initiatives to mitigate these identified risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities in Supply Chain Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and assess their likelihood and impact using established risk assessment frameworks (*, operational, financial, ESG, compliance, geopolitical, cybersecurity, capacity, and concentration risks).
  • Develop and maintain supplier risk profiles, including risk scoring, dependency analysis, and critical supplier identification.
  • Support the implementation of mitigation strategies and contingency plans to manage identified risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor external factors such as regulatory changes, natural disasters, or market trends that could disrupt the supply chain.
  • Contribute to enterprise-level risk views and dashboards, ensuring alignment with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and governance requirements.
  • Collate information from all business teams regarding their supply chain needs and supplier risk performance to consolidate the organization's overall supply chain dependencies.
  • Support awareness sessions for business teams on reporting supplier/supply chain risks to the SRM/SCR team and ensuring business continuity in case of supply chain disruptions.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Oversee and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth through mentorship.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance culture within the SRM & SCR Team.

Governance, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

  • Support the development and maintenance of supply chain risk policies, methodologies, and playbooks.
  • Prepare executive-ready reports, dashboards, and management updates on key supply chain risk trends and mitigation status.
  • Drive continuous improvement in tools, data quality, and processes related to SRM and supply chain risk.
  • Support audits, reviews, and compliance requirements related to supplier risk and governance.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain risk management or a related field.
