About the Opportunity

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking an Associate Category Manager for the Amazon Now program. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role involves managing end-to-end vendor relationships and driving commercial performance within a dynamic retail environment.

Amazon Now Program Context

Amazon Now is Amazon's quick commerce program operating in Saudi Arabia, a region characterized by a highly competitive and fast-moving retail market. The program focuses on ensuring rapid delivery and maintaining a high standard for selection and in-stock availability across its dark store and superstore network.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a vendor portfolio across assigned categories, building strong relationships and ensuring vendors are positioned for long-term success on the platform.
• Drive selection expansion by identifying and onboarding new ASINs that align with category strategy and contribute to overall ASIN targets.
• Improve numeric distribution and fill rates by collaborating closely with vendors to optimize availability, reduce stockouts, and strengthen supply chain reliability.
• Lead regular vendor business reviews to assess performance, share insights, and align on growth opportunities and improvement areas.
• Support the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and deals, ensuring vendors are engaged and aligned to maximize impact.
