About the Banking Integration Tester Role

TawanTech is seeking a Banking Integration Tester to join our Banking Technology team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role focuses on ensuring seamless communication and high-quality system integrations across various banking applications and services within a distributed environment.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in integration testing, specifically validating connections between banking applications, middleware, APIs, and third-party services. This position requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, integration workflows, and the banking environment to deliver reliable and robust system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and execute Integration Test Cases and Test Scenarios.
• Validate end-to-end integration between banking applications, middleware, APIs, and external systems.
• Analyze Business and Functional Requirements to identify integration testing needs.
• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Functional Testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, and Project Managers.
• Validate API requests and responses using testing tools.
• Verify data consistency across multiple integrated systems and databases.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
• Support UAT activities whenever required.
• Ensure testing activities comply with banking quality standards and project timelines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• +4 years of experience in Software Testing with a strong focus on Integration Testing.
• Previous experience working within the Banking or Financial Services sector is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Temenos T24 testing and integration is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
