About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Bartender (Dry) to join its full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining the bar area to high standards, and ensuring exceptional guest service. Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drink orders for guests accurately, adhering to specified recipes and using precise measuring systems.
• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and all associated tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks as required.
• Manage inventory by stocking ice, glassware, and paper supplies, and transport supplies to the bar setup area.
• Wash soiled glassware and remove soiled items from the bar top and tables, placing them in designated areas.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs for bar supplies.
• Process all payment methods accurately.
• Count the bank at the end of each shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
• Secure coolers, cabinets, and storage areas at the end of the shift.
• Complete all assigned closing duties efficiently.

Operational Standards and Guest Service

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, protect company assets, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with guests and colleagues.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to established quality expectations and standards in all tasks.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a bartending or similar hospitality role.
• Completion of safety training and certifications as required by company policy.
