About the Role

Deemah is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical for achieving operational objectives by ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of building systems and infrastructure. The role involves leading and guiding the operations team in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Operational Leadership and Strategy

The Building Maintenance Technician will lead and guide the operations team in identifying deviations and opportunities for improvement within building maintenance processes. This includes developing and implementing suitable and effective action plans to address identified issues, thereby contributing directly to the achievement of overall operational objectives.

Policy, Process, and Compliance Management

• Oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures, and controls that govern all building maintenance activities.
• Ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled in the execution of maintenance tasks.
• Maintain continuous compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), Food Safety Management System (FSMC), and Hazard and Operability Study (HFMS) requirements.

Technical System Maintenance

• Address and resolve breakdowns in equipment related to Building Maintenance, including MEP works, ACs, Package units, Desert coolers, RO plant, and Pumps.
• Perform maintenance on electrical systems, which includes replacing light bulbs and sockets, and cleaning or repairing circuit breaker panels.
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other complex systems, conducting repairs as necessary to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure their consistent and reliable operation.

Building Infrastructure and Safety

• Survey buildings regularly to identify and repair mechanical systems, ensuring all installations and repairs comply with health and safety standards.
• Inspect alarm systems, including fire and protection systems, and schedule necessary repairs to maintain safety protocols.
• Execute manual repairs as required, such as fixing locks and replacing windows, to ensure the integrity and security of the building infrastructure.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The successful candidate will operate within a dynamic environment, contributing to the continuous operational excellence and safety standards of Deemah's facilities.
