About the Role

Bank of Jordan is seeking a Business Continuity Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing and overseeing the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program specifically for Bank of Jordan's Saudi Arabia Branches. The primary focus is on developing, maintaining, and ensuring the effectiveness of business continuity and operational resilience frameworks in line with regulatory standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program across all Bank of Jordan - Saudi Arabia Branches.
Develop and maintain Business Continuity and Operational Resilience frameworks, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Lead Business Impact Analysis (BIA), risk assessments, and the development of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
Ensure the readiness and effectiveness of business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities through regular testing, crisis simulations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) requirements, ISO 22301, and other applicable standards.
Monitor emerging regulations, industry trends, and best practices, recommending enhancements to strengthen operational resilience.
Support incident and crisis management activities to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of critical business services.
Prepare management reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) related to business continuity and operational resilience.
Promote a culture of business continuity through training, awareness programs, and advisory support across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CBCI, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CBCP, or other relevant certifications are preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) or Risk Management.
At least 3 years of this experience must be in a managerial position.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Strong ability to conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
Comprehensive knowledge of Business Continuity Management (BCM), Disaster Recovery (DR), and the requirements of ISO 22301.
Knowledge of Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations and requirements.
Thorough understanding of internal and external policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing the business, including their updates.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Strong decision-making skills.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in computer applications and the systems used within the organization.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
