Role Overview

Publicis Groupe is seeking a Business Director - Strategy & Insights to join the team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires over 10 years of experience and involves leading and directing strategy for top clients, mentoring junior strategy talent, and actively contributing to the Groupe's "Power of One" vision. The Business Director will focus on securing new business and delivering creative work that garners industry recognition.

Key Responsibilities: Technical & Product

• Utilize and advocate the Publicis Groupe FUEL platform, ensuring team adoption.
• Participate in Groupe and Agency OPEN briefs, providing inspiring springboards.
• Analyze past award submissions to identify successful story components and discuss findings.
• Develop proactive briefs for clients based on qualified opportunities.
• Initiate and direct client Effectiveness awards entries and submissions regionally and globally.
• Inspire creative teams for client Creative awards.
• Focus on delivering revelatory insights rather than mere facts or observations.
• Improve the strategic thinking craft behind briefs.
• Attend senior-level internal and external trainings.
• Direct the team to research cultural trends for new technology, data, and design applications in strategic work.
• Ensure the team builds focused, insightful, and inspiring connections plans with creative briefs.
• Create opportunities for primary and secondary research for clients and the agency.
• Identify and pursue large-scale opportunities to expand client relationships and secure new business.
• Lead agency new business pitches, creating impact through detailed strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities: Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency

• Serve as a primary knowledge resource within the agency for client categories and business.
• Build knowledge of key technology and emerging vendors to integrate innovative solutions for clients.
• Deliver persuasive and effective presentations.
• Unearth and direct client workshops, actively participating in them.
• Direct monitoring of social, cultural, and technological trends and their impact on attitudes and behaviors.
• Direct team participation in client-conducted research.
• Direct consistent monitoring of campaign performance (brand, business, media) and develop optimization plans.
• Introduce Publicis Groupe offerings and solutions to existing client businesses.
• Own client relationships, maintain dialogue for day-to-day success, and proactively identify new business opportunities.
• Inspire original, innovative marketing and communication solutions that aid client business transformation and growth.

Experience Required

• A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in strategy and insights.
