About Humain and the Business Operations Manager Role

Humain is Saudi Arabia's full-stack AI company, supported by the Public Investment Fund. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Humain focuses on building AI infrastructure, foundational models, and real-world AI solutions for the region and globally. The Operations department is central to designing and evolving the company's operational framework, ensuring it becomes increasingly AI-native. We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to join our team in Riyadh.

Purpose of the Role

The Business Operations Manager serves as a key support to the Head of Operations, acting as the central engine for the department. This role is critical in maintaining the operating rhythm, tracking priorities, and ensuring effective coordination across all functions within Operations. The objective is to enable the department to deliver its objectives with consistent pace and focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the department's operating cadence, including planning, agenda setting, decision tracking, action follow-through, and overall execution.
• Ensure the Head of Operations' priorities remain visible and on track, driving follow-through across all relevant teams.
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination, connecting various pillars of the department, surfacing and resolving issues, and ensuring work progresses smoothly.
• Provide decision support and reporting by preparing executive and board materials, briefings, and analyses on behalf of the Head of Operations.
• Lead cross-cutting initiatives and coordinate the internal operational aspects of the department.
• Implement AI-native ways of working to enhance the operating rhythm, tracking, and reporting processes.

Performance Expectations

Within the first 90 days, the successful candidate will ensure the department's operating rhythm is reliably established, characterized by clear agendas, decisive actions, and consistent follow-through. By 6-12 months, the expectation is for the department to operate with enhanced pace and discipline, with cross-cutting initiatives effectively delivered.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in operations management or a similar strategic support role. A proven track record of managing complex operational rhythms and driving cross-functional initiatives is essential.
