The Role of Civil Inspector

Dar is seeking a dedicated Civil Inspector to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to ensuring the quality and compliance of civil and road works on various projects. The Civil Inspector will be responsible for supervising and inspecting construction activities to ensure strict adherence to project specifications, design drawings, and established construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect civil and road construction works to ensure full compliance with drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
Monitor site activities diligently and report any non-conformance or deviations from approved plans.
Verify quantities of materials and completed works, ensuring comprehensive quality control across all civil activities.
Review and check materials, shop drawings, and method statements for accuracy and suitability.
Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and site teams to address progress updates and technical issues.
Ensure the proper execution of works in strict accordance with approved method statements.
Support the project team in preparing progress reports and conducting technical evaluations.
Ensure consistent adherence to all safety standards and site regulations.
Ensure compliance with standards set by relevant authorities such as MOT, RCRC, or similar bodies.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Civil Inspector position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in civil and road construction inspection or a similar capacity. This experience should demonstrate a strong understanding of construction processes, quality control, and compliance with industry standards.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires regular on-site presence to perform inspection and supervision duties effectively.
