About the Role

Unilever is seeking a Collections & Claims Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring operational excellence across the entire cash collection and claims management cycle within the organization.

Role Overview and Context

The specialist will be responsible for direct correspondence with customers to manage open invoices, settle claims, and resolve disputes efficiently. A key aspect of this role involves reconciling customer balances and coordinating closely with colleagues in logistics and sales. This coordination is crucial for addressing open actions, highlighting potential risks, and effectively managing bad debts to maintain financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and timely analysis and settlement of claims with customers.
• Ensure customer accounts are compliant and fully reconciled.
• Manage open items and aged balances to proactively address disputes and mitigate collection risks.
• Engage in cross-functional interactions with sales and logistics teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Participate in monthly meetings with the cash & claims team and leadership to provide updates on open actions, opportunities, and risks.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in collections, claims management, or a similar financial operations capacity. The position requires a professional with a strong understanding of financial reconciliation processes and customer account management.
