Parsons Corporation is seeking a Construction Manager – Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role contributes to critical infrastructure projects within the region, aligning with the company's focus on delivering complex engineering and construction solutions.

Role Overview: Construction Manager, BHS

The Construction Manager for Baggage Handling Systems is responsible for the comprehensive management and coordination of BHS works within terminal buildings. This includes overseeing construction, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and final delivery of these systems. The primary objective is to ensure that all BHS systems consistently meet specified operational, safety, security, and performance requirements, in direct alignment with overall airport operational objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee the construction and installation phases of baggage handling systems and their associated infrastructure.
Coordinate integration activities among BHS suppliers, terminal contractors, ICT teams, and airport operators.
Manage installation sequencing, logistical requirements, and all testing activities related to BHS.
Review technical submittals, shop drawings, and interface documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Ensure strict adherence to airport security requirements and established operational standards.
Support integrated systems testing, commissioning, and Operational Readiness, Activation, and Transition (ORAT) activities.
Monitor contractor performance, quality control, and safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactively identify and resolve interface and technical coordination issues as they arise.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction management, specifically within the domain of Baggage Handling Systems or similar complex airport infrastructure projects.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a dedicated presence on-site to manage project activities effectively.
