About the Role

Aventus is seeking a Data Governance Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an on-site, full-time position offered as a 6-month renewable contract, open exclusively to Saudi nationals. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide data governance initiatives and ensuring compliance with national frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement enterprise-wide data governance initiatives.
• Design and develop data governance policies across DAMA data management domains.
• Drive compliance with NDMO and NDI frameworks, coordinating with SDAIA.
• Foster and embed a robust data culture throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data governance, data management, or compliance roles, ideally within Saudi government or public sector entities.
• Demonstrated experience with NDMO and/or NDI compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of DAMA-DMBOK data management domains.
• Proven ability to develop data governance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement within large organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications, such as CDMP or NDMO-related certifications, are a strong asset.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Exposure to data analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (*, Power BI, Tableau, SAP).
• Experience with data classification, protection, and quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with ISO data and information management standards.

This is an on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is offered as a 6-month renewable contract and requires an immediate start for the successful candidate.
