About Extend and the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Editor / Animator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are proactive and committed to delivering thoughtful, high-quality visual content.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to craft compelling visual narratives and translate creative concepts into engaging visual formats. Beyond standard editing, the Editor / Animator will develop innovative visual solutions, infusing content with a distinct character that captivates audiences. This involves leveraging artistic judgment and a comprehensive understanding of social media platforms and local cultural nuances.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit engaging video content specifically designed for social media platforms.
• Transform written concepts and creative briefs into impactful visual works relevant to local culture.
• Lead video editing processes, applying appropriate visual and audio effects to ensure content is produced with high precision and aesthetic quality.
• Experiment with new editing techniques and intelligently integrate the latest global and local video trends.
• Collaborate with creative directors and team members to propose innovative ideas that enhance visual storytelling.
• Execute quick, high-impact adjustments to content, aligning with the dynamic pace of daily digital interactions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in video editing and effects design software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
• A strong creative sense and an excellent understanding of rhythm, timing, and effective short-form storytelling.
• High flexibility in managing tight deadlines and delivering quality content efficiently.
• Ability to proactively suggest and initiate visual ideas without constant direction.
• 0-1 years of experience, with prior work experience in fast-paced advertising and marketing agencies being preferred.
