About the Role

Restart is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves overseeing electrical engineering activities, site execution, and technical coordination for construction, infrastructure, and real estate development projects. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and applicable standards, bringing 5–7 years of relevant professional experience to the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage electrical installation and construction activities at project sites.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material submittals, method statements, and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, architectural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure electrical installations are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Review and coordinate LV/MV systems, power distribution, lighting, earthing, cable routing, and related electrical systems.
• Conduct site inspections and identify and resolve technical or construction-related issues.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are completed according to the approved schedule and quality requirements.
• Verify materials and equipment delivered to site against approved technical submittals and specifications.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover activities.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection records, technical documentation, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE, quality, and electrical safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering, construction, infrastructure, or real estate development projects.
• Experience in site supervision, electrical inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia’s construction, infrastructure, or real estate sector and familiarity with local regulations and standards is preferred.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, LV/MV systems, lighting, earthing, cable sizing, and electrical installations.
• Good understanding of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, BOQs, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant electrical engineering/design software.
• Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and engineering standards.

Core Competencies

• Excellent analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently manage site electrical activities and resolve technical issues.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site presence for project supervision and coordination.
