Role Overview: Electrical Engineer

Pinnacle is seeking Saudi Arabian Electrical Engineering graduates and professionals to join its full-time team in Riyadh or Jeddah. This role is open to candidates with 0–3 years of experience and a strong interest in Building Information Modeling (BIM). It provides an opportunity to develop a career in electrical BIM, digital construction, electrical system design, and multidisciplinary project coordination. Fresh graduates will receive structured training, while experienced candidates will contribute directly to ongoing BIM projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing accurate 3D BIM models for electrical systems and components.
• Support the modeling of lighting systems, power distribution systems, cable trays, conduits, electrical panels, and equipment.
• Assist in modeling fire alarm, emergency lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and low-voltage systems.
• Support the preparation of electrical drawings, shop drawings, layout drawings, schematics, and detailed design documentation.
• Participate in BIM coordination and clash-detection activities with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and other project teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure electrical design requirements are accurately reflected in BIM models.
• Update BIM models and drawings based on design revisions, technical inputs, and project requirements.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, model reviews, and preparation of project deliverables.
• Ensure BIM models and drawings comply with project standards, electrical codes, BIM guidelines, and quality requirements.
• Support project teams in identifying and resolving electrical modeling and coordination issues.
• Maintain proper project documentation and follow established BIM workflows, standards, and processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic to good understanding of electrical engineering principles, building electrical systems, and construction methods.
• Knowledge of lighting, power distribution, cable routing, earthing, fire alarm, low-voltage systems, and electrical services is preferred.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or other electrical design and BIM software is preferred.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong interest in BIM, digital construction, and engineering technology.
• Ability to understand electrical drawings, line diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Good analytical, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn new BIM tools, electrical standards, and project workflows.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
