About the Role

alfanar, a company with operations in construction, manufacturing, and design, is seeking an Architectural Design Engineer for its Riyadh office. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to create detailed architectural designs and schematics for various projects. This involves analyzing project requirements, developing and refining architectural systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders. The goal is to deliver efficient and aesthetically pleasing designs that meet project objectives while optimizing performance and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural designs, schematics, and layouts that align with project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct spatial analysis, design simulations, and performance evaluations to ensure designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and currency.
• Ensure all designs comply with national and local building codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate architectural systems with other building systems and project requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and present design concepts and solutions.
• Review and approve design modifications and changes, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications.
• Identify and resolve design issues, perform design testing, and provide solutions to technical problems during the implementation phase.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and solutions.
