About the Role

alfanar is seeking an Architectural Design Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves creating detailed architectural designs and schematics for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project objectives. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Job Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to develop and refine architectural systems, ensuring they are both efficient and aesthetically pleasing. The Architectural Design Engineer will analyze project requirements, provide innovative solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that meet specifications and project goals. alfanar operates construction and manufacturing businesses, design & development centers, and various facilities across the Middle East and other regions. alfanar Building Systems specifically manufactures and markets building construction products and systems, including façade cladding, glazing systems, architectural aluminum products, precast concrete products, and architectural elements, alongside real estate development.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural designs, schematics, and layouts that align with project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct spatial analysis, design simulations, and performance evaluations to ensure designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and currency.
• Ensure all designs comply with national and local building codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate architectural systems with other building systems and project requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, offer technical advice, and present design concepts.
• Review and approve design modifications and changes, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Identify and resolve design issues, perform design testing, and provide solutions to technical problems during implementation.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance design processes and solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in architectural design. A foundational understanding of architectural principles, design software, and building codes is expected. The ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies is essential.
