Role Overview

Alfanar Projects is seeking a Site Engineer to monitor and oversee site operations. This role ensures that all activities are carried out in strict accordance with project plans, technical specifications, and established quality standards. The Site Engineer is crucial for coordinating with various teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and efficient site execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure alignment with project schedules and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards on site.
• Verify the availability and proper utilization of materials, equipment, and resources.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and external parties to resolve operational issues.
• Provide regular updates on progress, potential risks, and technical concerns to the project team.
• Support cross-functional collaboration between various departments and vendors.
• Track site progress, identify potential delays or challenges, and recommend corrective actions to maintain schedules and targets.
• Maintain accurate daily records of site activities and overall progress.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work plans, providing technical guidance to on-site teams.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of operational or technical problems.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive site reports, logs, and inspection records.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately for project tracking and audits.

• Continuous Learning and Development: Proactively acquire and update soft and technical skills relevant to the role.
• Project Delivery and Resource Management: Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets, ensuring efficient resource utilization and timely delivery. Report on deviations and task execution.
• Issue Resolution: Address operational problems effectively and escalate complex issues as necessary.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes, including defining specifications for products, processes, and related activities.
• Process Optimization: Coordinate the development and implementation of documented systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where feasible.
• Policy and Procedure Compliance: Adhere strictly to all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee legislative compliance and high-quality service delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate for the Site Engineer role will possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field. A strong understanding of site operations, project plans, technical requirements, and quality standards is essential for this position.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active coordination with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success within a professional and compliant work environment.
