About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to delivering memorable culinary experiences for guests, ensuring high standards of quality and smooth kitchen operations. The role requires a focus on both culinary excellence and effective team leadership within a dynamic hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of all meals, ensuring high standards of visual appeal and taste for guests.
• Direct daily kitchen activities, including the coaching and development of a culinary team capable of catering to over 500 people.
• Encourage and address guest feedback to continuously enhance dining experiences.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director on planning and executing various events.
• Work closely with the finance team to manage forecasting, planning, and budgeting for kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Executive Chef position should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a culinary leadership role, such as an Executive Chef.
• Demonstrated ability to direct daily kitchen activities and manage a large culinary team effectively.
• Proven expertise in maintaining high standards of food quality and operational efficiency.
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting within a culinary context.
