Facility Engineer

About the Role

Tarshid - National Energy Services Company is seeking a Facility Engineer 1 to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting the Projects Program Manager in the day-to-day execution of projects, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance schedules and follow up on execution to minimize downtime.
• Support in calculating maintenance costs as a proportion of Asset Replacement Value to inform decisions on asset replacement or repair.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
• Perform facility inspections and report on conditions that may affect operations.
• Prepare weekly reports for management review.
• Create and oversee maintenance requests within the ERP system.
• Manage the upload of project assets into the ERP system.
• Ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards by reporting unsafe practices or those adversely impacting the environment.
• Support a superior in planning and implementing facilities equipment maintenance programs.
• Provide technical assistance for facilities engineering at the plant, covering installation, startup, repair, training, and modification of power transmission systems.
• Maintain confidentiality in all work-related matters and information.

Additional Duties

• Support contract and supplier management.
• Ensure approvals for deliverables.
• Monitor project performance.
• Coordinate the implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Prepare reports for the Project Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a relevant role.
• Relevant Professional Certification (PMP, etc.) is preferred.

Required Skills

• Professional proficiency in English is required, and fluency in Arabic is essential.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and openness to working in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of the functions and operations of major electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Understanding of engineering principles and practices related to facility engineering services.
• Familiarity with modern materials, methods, and techniques for the design, construction, installation, and maintenance of structures and facilities.
