About the Fulfillment Center Supervisor Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking a Fulfillment Center Supervisor to join its operations team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves overseeing shift management within our logistics network, contributing to the efficient flow of customer orders.

Role Context and Impact

The Fulfillment Center Supervisor drives the operational pulse on the ground, playing a critical role in ensuring customer orders are processed and dispatched at every stage of the supply chain. This position involves managing shifts across first-mile fulfillment centers, middle-mile sortation centers, or final-mile delivery stations, with a focus on operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain a safe working environment by identifying and addressing safety opportunities within the work area.
• Manage and train Associates to ensure high-quality service delivery for customers.
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled in strict adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
• Provide critical shift-related information consistently to frontline management and operators.
• Adjust labor allocation throughout shifts to meet and exceed operational plans and forecasts.
• Engage with support functions and other departments to resolve common issues or needs in key performance areas such as process area readiness, 5S, safety, and training.
• Contribute to solving logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation, and process optimization.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• One or more years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Physical Requirements and Work Schedule

Candidates must be able to meet the following physical and scheduling requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, shift, or work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
